Job Description
Role & Responsibilities:
· Supervises a team of non-exempt individual contributors that typically support standard global financial processes (Accounts Payable)
· Responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes.
· Leads a standard transactional accounting process supporting HP’s global finance function.
· Resource and production planning to provide cost effective, high quality service within agreedSLA’s. Lead an effective team of Teams Leads
· Drive strong work ethics, people practices, goal-setting, appraisals, and build and maintain highly motivated team.
· Drive business and interface with the clients. Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with key members of the client team.
· Drive best practice sharing.
· Motivates and engages team by involving them in decision-making (e.g., balancing workload, defining team goals), extending opportunities to improve processes and develop their skill sets, Determines most frequently occurring critical errors at program/process level: completes root cause analysis; implements solutions and action plans to address process level issues; and monitors, evaluates, communicates results
· Strives for continuous improvement and follow-through: Captures customer pain points, defines problem, evaluates root cause, puts plan in place, monitors delivery to that plan, measures success, modifies plan as needed; ensures evaluation and feedback strategies are in place for continuous improvement of processes
· Drives quality by ensuring that agents and Team Leads are trained to meet quality metric. Identifies where in process are we failing, where are we improving, where we can automate process to avoid repetitive human error
· Addresses customer questions and concerns quickly and accurately to maintain confidence in HP and its business processes; proactively communicates with customer, establishing empathy and rapport, to ensure solution is meeting expectations and business requirements
Education and Experience Required:
· First level university degree preferred.
· 8-10 years of experience with minimum 5 years of BPO Experience in third party F&A domain & minimum 2 years of experience as a people manager . Experience in P2P is MUST.End to End P2P experience required.
· Experience in handling large teams (minimum of 30 members).
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Deep understanding of accounting concepts and principles, working knowledge and experience on ERP systems. SAP experience would be desirable.
· Good supervisory, analytical, Decision making & problem-solving skills.
· Flexible to work in shifts.
· Excellent verbal & written English.
· Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
· Excellent presentation skills. Ability to be able to make presentations to internal stakeholders and senior level managers on the client side.
· Eye for detail and accuracy.
· High tolerance of ambiguity and flexibility.
