Technical Architect (Karnataka)

Job Description

*Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience, or combination.
*Minimum 8 years of experience working as a Technical Architect preferably in telecom and/or Banking domain. Preferably working in the Central design team of a Telco or a Bank rather than in an IT firm.
*Highly experienced in designing, documenting and analysing overall architecture of the systems including hardware and software. Hands-on experience with modeling tools MS Visio, Enterprise Architect(EA) & Altova MapForce
*Should have handled a minimum of two large, successful IT transformation programs, where he/she has architected the blue-print for the transition
*Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into IT solutions with a clear mapping on how the solution meets the business objectives. Must possess sound knowledge of software design principles.
*Architect, implement and support critical initiatives involving IT infrastructure and landscape relating to enterprise Applications, Programs, and the Data Warehouse.
*Experience in determining performance, usability, scalability, reliability and security needs of the proposed architecture solutions to ensure that long-term objectives and impacts are factored into the design process.
*Strong R&D Skills to research and recommend technology to improve the current systems and/or propose solutions with the latest, relevant technologies.
*Knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture.
*Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills, makes data driven decisions.
*Common-sense out-of-the-box thinker and doer.
*A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
*Ability to play the role of a subject matter expert(SME) for all projects under the program and should be responsible for resolving issues that require architectural/design changes.
*Willingness to travel for events and client meetings that provide value to the client and translates into an IT project/program IMP
