The role expects the job holder to deliver following responsibilities:

– Assist formulation development work stream leader for larger global innovation projects.

– Lead small innovation projects as TPL independently.

– Liaise with cross functional team (eg. Marketing, Global supply chain, Supply management, SEAC, Packaging, Finance, Regulatory, etc.

– Plan and lead pilot plant activities (design DOE, prepare prototypes in pilot plant, conduct storage studies, etc.

– Liaise with supplier for new RM technology development.

– Liaise with discovery team to collaborate and support new science development.

Connect with consumers & Participate in consumer test studies (eg. attend recall, etc.)

– Lead Main plant trials for new formulation along with global processing and supply chain team.

– Liaise & collaborate with different RDC teams regularly for executing global projects in respective regions.

– Extend support for new packaging development.

– Liaise with 3P appraisal lab and analytical lab team for competitor product evaluation.

– Support generation of RM/PM specs and comply with PLM requirements.

Area of Specialization: Product Development

Necessary Qualifications: Post graduate in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering

Experience: At least 6 to 8 years of experience in product development and active participation in project management. Any experience as TPL for leading small regional and global project will be ideal. Candidate should have basic appreciation of product appraisal, claim support, processing, SEAC clearance processing and regulatory functions.
