Job Description

1. Enabling preparation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account:

Income Provision
Expense Provision
NPA / Loss Provision

2. Reconciliation review:

Accounting reconciliations
Bank reconciliations

3. Fixed assets

Accounting for purchase and sale of assets
Providing for depreciation

4. Quarterly consolidation:

Group-company confirmation of transactions
Other details

5. Tax payments and returns:

TDS Payment and Return
Service Tax Payment and Return
Enabling Vat Payment and Return by the branches

6. Handling audits and inspections

Statutory audit
Internal audit
Tax audit
Transfer Pricing audit
Service Tax audit
RBI audit

7. Handling assessments

Preparation of data for Income Tax assessments
NSDL / 26AS transaction reconciliation

Skills/Expertise:

Knowledge of Accounting Standards and Tax Laws
2 to 3 years experience in Accounts function.
Should have good communication
