Job Description

Application Admin- (Git Install/Trainer)

Duties & accountabilities :
-Day-to-day administration of the applications including operational support, troubleshooting, tuning, upgrade
-Artifactory, Maven, Jenkins, Git/Gerrit
-Work closely with the system engineers (DBAs, Linux/Windows, Network, Storage) to troubleshoot incidents related to the applications
-Write hooks for SVN and Gerrit
-Collaborate with other application administrators to pursue application integrations

Business competencies :
-Experienced in administration of Application Lifecycle management Tools.
-Previous experience in administering at least two applications from the following list: SVN, Artifactory, Maven, Hudson/J enkins, Git/Gerrit (Gerrit knowledge is a significant advantage) is a must
-Excellent knowledge of Java (Application performance and debugging knowledge and skills), Jython/Python, Bash and Linux command line tools (preferably Red Hat / Fedora).
-Strong troubleshooting skills
-Working knowledge of PERL, PHP, HTML, SQL, is a significant advantage
