Regional Finance Director - South Asia

Marie Stopes International is one of the world’s largest social businesses and leaders in Family Planning. We are present in over 37 countries and deliver quality family planning and reproductive health services to poor and vulnerable young women and men in areas where it matters most.

The Regional Finance Director will be responsible for supporting the South Asia country programmes (Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka) to achieve sustainable growth and compliance through improved financial management and performance. The Regional Finance Director will report to the Regional Director and work closely with Finance Directors in the region.

The candidate needs to be a Chartered Accountant or equivalent with relevant senior management experience in Finance, business strategy and reporting.

Experience in leadership of teams – including building capacity of direct reports, working within a finance function within a commercial or a social business, working in developing markets particularly in Asia, working with donors and with colleagues in geographically dispersed locations is essential . Experience in developing proposals for bidding for donor grants would be desirable.

Compensation would be among the best in comparable industry and based on qualifications and experience.
