Job Description

Position Summary:
Contributes to the loan decision-making process and sound portfolio management by providing in-depth credit analysis on new and existing clients for Business Banking Officers and Loan Committees. Monitors loan files for adequate and current financial information and documentation. Understands and completes job responsibilities in accordance with federal and state regulations.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Credit Underwriting 80%
1. Completes loan requests and reviews
2. Analyzes financial information
3. Identifies, requests, and tracks information needed to complete the credit analysis
4. Identifies and reports areas of concern
5. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and bank regulations
6. Reviews loan file for proper documentation
7. Prepares monthly and quarterly reports that monitor the loan portfolio


Real Estate Evaluation 15%
8. Completes appraisal reviews
9. Complete property evaluations on commercial and residential properties
10. Performs site visits as needed


Additional Duties & Responsibilities 5%
11. Backs-up the Credit Officer in the preparation of various monthly and quarterly reports
12. Assists the Credit Officer in preparation of business banking audits
13. Serves as Secretary to the Officer and back-up to Credit Officer for Board Loan Committees
14. Serves on bank committees as needed
15. Participates in internal and external training and development opportunities as required
16. Other job related duties necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position


Work Relationships and Scope:
Reports to Credit Officer. Works periodically with clients and works regularly with co-workers. Works regularly with highly confidential business and client information. Occasionally participates in bank events.

Demonstrates professionalism, commitment to the job, and loyalty to the Bank.
