Job Description

This role works very closely with both developers and designers to create beautiful and unique web experiences across a wide range of projects.

Job Responsibilities include:
Collaborate to identify and realize project requirements
Build reusable and customized PHP components, plugins, and frameworks
Integrate server-side code with HTML and CSS
Use jQuery to enhance rich user interfaces
Integrate with social media API’s

Required experience includes:
1+ years of object-oriented programming with PHP5
Fluent in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL
Familiarity with the LAMP Stack
Experience with PHP frameworks and ORMs
Knowledge of JavaScript libraries (jQuery preferred)
Knowledge of current web trends
Knowledge of security best practices and defensive programming
Ability to multi-task and work on concurrent projects
Strong organization skills and the ability to work independently

Additional desired skills might include:

Experience with the one PHP framework
Experience with Git
Strong HTML/CSS skills
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of cross-browser development and limitations
Familiarity with Adobe Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
