Required Skills:
• Strong experience in Sybase Database Administration
• Hands on experience on Sybase IQ administration
• Strong experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, deadlocks, Performance Tuning, Query Optimization.
• Hands on experience on Sybase IQ
• Strong knowledge on UNIX.
• Good knowledge of database backups & restores, recovery models, database shrink operations
• Have worked closely with production support teams monitoring and troubleshooting database processes
