Candidate should have Minimum experience of 10 years, with last 5 years should have handled the responsibility as a “Spare Parts Manager” in any commercial Vehicle Industry/ Car Dealership. Responsible for Whole Spare parts inventory Management. Keeping the track of Re-order level. Maintaining minimum stock level as per the consumption trends. Placing the orders to Ashok Leyland in a much planned manner to get the maximum discount and achieving the targets to get the bonus discount as well. Avoiding the VOR orders, which should not be more than 5% of total orders in a month. Maintaining the inventory on the basis of scientific management of inventory based on the most popular theory of ABC analysis.
Maintaining the good relations with the local vendors, to get the maximum discounts and good credit period, but not at the cost of quality. Keeping track of obsolete stock and returning back to the principal in time by exchanging with the running items. Avoiding order of Wrong parts, by taking utmost care before ordering. Doing the audit of the whole stock once in a quarter and random check every week. Achieving the monthly target given by management time to time. To advise improvisation or introduce new technologies/ systems/ ideas/ machineries/ manpower/ etc so as to improve efficiency with minimum cost. Generating daily reports on the workshop performance.
