Front End Developer (Gujarat)
Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
– Developing responsive web applications and hybrid mobile applications to a high standard
– Working alongside the product management and UX lead to help define realistic requirements
– Working alongside other teams to deliver a coherent front-end, this will involve pushing forwards API and
schema changes.
– Working alongside the senior team to define and deliver a best practice front-end solution.
– Writing unit tests to run within a continuous integration environment.
– Liaising with QA to help them write integration tests
– Ensuring software compatibility across different browsers and platforms.
– Mentoring, hiring and training other developers as necessary.
– Keeping up to date with current front-end technology trends.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
– At least 1 to 1.5 years of experience as a front end developer.
– Strong coding experience of JavaScript, with knowledge of how to structure large JavaScript applications.
– Deep knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, ideally also experience with LESS or SASS, and experience with CSS3
animations.
– Experience styling for Responsive applications, ideally using Bootstrap.
– Experience developing applications across multiple browser, for desktops, tablets and phones.
– Coding with web-security in mind.
