Location: Okhla Phase 1 (South Delhi)

Work Timings: 10 – 6 PM (2nd and 4th Saturday Fixed Off)

Designation: Category Head

Reporting to : Director

Job Responsibilities:

– Preparing forecasts & budgets for new product development, as well as developing plans for the achievement of business goals; devising & implementing promotion plans and concepts to generate business.

– Formulating Buying & Merchandising plan for business development & expansions.

– Conceptualizing & implementing strategies for private label development and formulating the SOP’s for the same.

– Developing brand identities, visual merchandising on-line displays windows for maintenance of a high-end brand image.

– Developing and analysing vendors Pan Indian and monitor the business performance and operational efficiency.

– Ensuring optimum inventory levels for achieving cost efficiency for product development and over all business development.

– Analysing latest marketing trends, tracking competition and providing valuable inputs for fine-tuning design/ development / sales and marketing strategies.

– Training the team & ensuring adherence to the SOP’s; reviewing periodical performance of Business and overall business for reporting to top management.

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience:

– Passion and knowledge of Fashion Trend, Apparels and other fashionable products.
– Has strong business acumen, should have entrepreneurial fire, from ideation to creation.
– Has worked with online/internet driven business.
– Has exposure to modern e commerce apparel and fashion industry.
– Is creative when w.r.t the Seasonal Trends that can be offered to customers
– Has technical know-how about the merchandise.
– Is a team worker and has willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
– A qualification in fashion, clothing & textiles or relative discipline would be an advantage.
– Ability to spot trends (new products, styles, brands) in the marketplace and in merchandise.
– Operational Expectations, specific to the role
– Coordinate between own function and the other functions /business to ensure smooth operations to ensure result delivery.
– Work and resources allocation to maximize productivity
– Implementing the organization vision within the function
– Define and deliver on the AOP of the function
– Selecting and Training capable first line managers
– Improvement in efficiency and quality of the work across , using technology
– Ensuring best practices and solution orientation
– Team work excellence, inter and intra department
– Role modelling the Culture, Values and Code of the business
