Job Description
• 3-6 yrs experience in NMS/EMS
• Design and development Essential Functions and Key responsibilities
• Design and development of Network Management products/features (EMS/NMS) ï
• Analyze the requirements; define architecture and provide high level design.
• Provide technical leadership to the NM Development team.
• Educational Requirement : Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in CS or EE with very good academics. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required : Must be familiar with object oriented programming principles
• Programming skills: Core Java, J2EE, Swing, XML, Multi-Threading and Client/ Server architecture, JDBC, Shell Scrips etc Exposure to various operating systems like Unix(must)/Linux/Windows.
• Exposure any one of the RDBMS (Oracle/MySQL/Sybase) � Prior exposure to Hibernate, JSP, J2EE, Ajax, performance tuning and optimization Exposure to debugging tools like JProbe/JProfiler/OptmizeIt is must.
• Excellent communication skills along with the passion, ability to mentor and groom the team technically.
• Knowledge of Network Management Standards SNMP, TCP/IP, TL1 etc Desired
• Exposure to CORBA/TMF is an added advantage.
• Exposure to Automation test tools for Unit testing; GUI Testing will be an added advantage
