Lead the project team in planning, implementation, coordination and successful completion of all projects.


– Establish plans and strategies for the development of existing and new projects both locally and overseas.


– Conduct feasibility studies and identify possible land and property development acquisition, planning and total logistics involved in the construction, operation and profitable management of new establishment and projects.


– Keep the CEO/Executive Chairman and the Board informed of the progress of property projects undertaken by the Company, reporting regularly on the status of each project.


– Monitoring the expenses of projects within agreed budgets. He is expected to assist in formulating budgets and to recommend policies to the CEO/ Executive Chairman and/or to the Boards.


– Maintain close and effective liaison with outside parties routinely involved in property development. These include local authorities, government departments, architects, interior designers and etc.


Professional Experience/Qualifications


– Must be a seasoned professional currently holding a senior management position with at least 20 years of working experience in property development and project management. Ideally, the candidate must possess international working experience in handling property development projects.


– This person must be capable of leading and managing the entire property division particularly in development management.


– He must possess in-depth understanding and keen interest in the luxury property markets both locally and internationally.


– He must have developed an ability to communicate clearly and effectively, orally and in writing with people at all levels, not least, with consultants, engineers, authorities as well as with his own project staff.


– A well-developed commercial sense is important and the person is expected to be technically sound and numerate, self-confident and an enterprising hands-on manager. He is expected to be highly organized, able to plan ahead and capable of setting an example for and motivating an existing team of professionals familiar with all aspects of property development. In short, the person must be technically sound and skilled in managing people and business. He must be absolutely trustworthy.

– Mature individual with strong leadership skills with the ability to deal at senior management level.


– Possess good business acumen, independent and a team player.


– Sharp and astute in business negotiations and a diplomat in dealing with senior business/ government officials and other business parties.


– Result oriented and energetic who can perform well under pressure.


– Consultative problem solving skills with strong inter-personal and communication skills.


– Possess strong people management skills.


Education


– A degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or other recognized professional qualification in a technical related field. An MBA or other business management qualification would be a distinct advantage. …
