Software Development Manager (Maharashtra)

Job Description

Organizes, mentors, and motivates a team of talented engineers on an Agile development team.
Fosters a culture of continuous improvement in all areas of technology and instills the principles of this culture in a team of Bright engineers.
Ensures that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively.
Provides detailed and timely status updates to leadership within Software Development
Ensures quality and consistency throughout the architecture and implementation of the code base.
Helps engineers resolve technical issues.
Helps engineers resolve employment issues and requests including schedule management, time-off requests, and conflict resolution.
Monitors engineer performance, establishes plans for improvement when necessary, conducts annual reviews in conjunction with management.

Desired Profile
At least 10 years experience developing web applications, with dedicated experience on the java /J2EE stack.
Experience with spring MVC , Hibernate is a must .
At least 3+ years experience in managing teams of software developers
Hands on experience with SOA like REST , SOAP .
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
Excellent understanding of Web Development technologies in general, including JavaScript, AJAX, and XML , JSON .
An extremely detail-oriented work ethic.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Telecom industry is mandatory.
