Job Description

IT Manager for the Chairman is mainly responsible for the smooth running of computer systems of the Chairman/CEO of the company and ensuring maximum benefits from them.
Responsibilities:
– Thorough knowledge and fully hands-on experience of latest technology developments Office IT setups, Networking, Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Sync Center, Group Policies, Microsoft Exchange and Outlook functions, SharePoint & SharePoint Designer, MS Project, Mobile applications of Blackberry, Android, Windows and Apple platforms.
– Thorough understanding of latest hardware & software knowledge of Laptops in the market, Blackberry instruments, Android Phones, Windows Phones, I-Phones, all types of Tablets etc.
– Installing and configuring Mobile Syncing technology between all the platforms- BlackBerry, Windows, Apple and android. Primarily Windows 8.1 Phone & iOS
– Testing and evaluating new technology related to Office equipment including Laptops, Blackberry, I-Phone, I-Pad, Windows and Android.
– Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software/ networking faults and maintaining system 100% uptime for the Chairman/CEO.
– Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, printers and applications.
– Monitoring and maintaining computer systems of Chairmans Office, roll-out of new applications.
– Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues of Active Directory.
– Work continuously on a task until completion, Prioritizing and managing many tasks at one time.
– Good understanding of Wireless / Wi-Fi technology
– Maintain critical data & backups, Prepare and maintain procedural documentation and relevant reports.
– Maintaining inventory of the systems in Chairmans Office.
– Basic level programming knowledge desirable.
– Maintain good communication skills, confidentiality & follow-ups.
Candidate profile:-
Graduate in computer applications/engineering or equivalent
Experience anywhere between 6 to 10 years of IT Industry Experience
Overseas experience especially in Dubai/ Middle East, or East African is preferred
Impeccable English writing skills is a must
He should be confident, presentable, knowledgeable and expert in conversation.
We will prefer a candidate who is ready to join immediately.
Preferably on Bachelor status.
