Job Description

We are currently looking for a Solution Delivery Pre-Sales Consultant to deliver high-quality projects to our customers and assist our Indian sales team with the growth of the business.


The role will be based in Chennai, but will have a national focus in regards to delivering projects to our customers and a global focus in regards to working and communicating with the other B2BE Teams.


The Solution Delivery Pre-Sales Consultant role within the B2BE environment is specifically designed to facilitate, liaise and develop a seamless interface between B2BE customers and Sales & Account Management functions, with the B2BE Technical functions, to ensure projects are delivered on-time, in full and to a very high standard.
In addition to the technical and project deliverables, the Solution Delivery Pre-Sales Consultant’s role is to bridge the gap between the interests of the Sales and Business Development functions (dynamic and agile) and the interests of the Solution Delivery function (stability), to quantify and qualify prospects’ and customers’ needs and ensure that sales proposals and projects are feasible and deliverable, and to assist Sales with product and solution pre-sales activities.


Responsibilities:


• Pre Sales: Monitor and manage the technical pre-sales environment and ensure compliance to internal governance, and support sales functions with professional consulting technical guidance for prospective customers. Provide sales functions with clear technical documentation and processes around the delivery of sales based initiatives;
• Project Management: Manage a portfolio of projects from initial scope to final invoicing, whilst meeting client expectations and company performance standards, and managing stakeholder communications and expectations at all times;
• Development and Technical Ownership: Take ownership in delivering projects, internal testing, external testing with customers and actioning connectivity protocols as required for each project;
• Customer Project Support: Act as a point of contact for identified key client account(s), liaising specifically for project requirements, progress reporting and the development of further potential customer projects; and
• B2BE Support: Provide tier two customer support to assist global shared services teams in delivering support levels defined within the B2BE standard support service level agreement.

• Excellent Customer Service Skills.
• 5 to 7 years relevant work experience; and
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or educational/experience equivalent;
• C/C++ programming knowledge is a must; and
• Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills in English and Indian are essential.


• A good understanding of electronic document formats and communication protocols;
• Excellent planning, problem management and organisation skills are essential;
• Project management experience is essential;
• Presentation skills and experience is essential;
• You show initiative, are proactive and have good interpersonal skills with a strong personality;
• Good understanding of business processes and B2B/e-Commerce processes;
• Must be able to establish a professional working relationship with the Team, which is spread across multiple geographic locations, and Customers; and
• Must be able to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced, on-time deliverable environment.
