Business Analyst (Retail), Mumbai - 1398069





Job Description

Experience:


2 – 5 yrs experience in Retail space


Experience in retail domain (POS, CRM, stores operations), retail product implementations and requirements gathering and analysis, process documentation, gap analysis.


Ready to travel ( Domestic and International)


Qualification:


Graduate Degree is required


Post Graduate Degree (in Retail) is preferred and relevant work experience in Retail domain is required. Experience with POS, CRM and SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions will be added advantage


Role & responsibilities:


Operations Related:


– Perform activities related to business process review and re-engineering.


– Demonstrates strong working knowledge of key IT processes


– Assist in setting project specific methodology


– Execute as per client deliverable


– Support in designing prototype screens based on requirements


– Update portal or central repository


– Conduct project specific research


– Provide Raymark product demos:


o Stores operations (Point of Sale, Back Office,Store Operations, Associate Management, Payment Processing,Order Management,Sales Audit, E-Commerce Integration)


o Customer-Centric Retailing (Clienteling, Loyalty, Customer Relationship Management, Consumer Mobile


o Planning & Inventory Management (Product Management, Merchandising, Replenishment, Warehousing & Distribution, Purchasing, Merchandise Planning, Assortment Planning,Financial Link)


o Reporting and Analytics


– Understand and support Raymark product, including resolving operational issues while working with teams located across the globe.


– Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues that are escalated.


– Work with development teams in an agile context as it relates to software development


– Collaborate and negotiate with Business Analysts, Product Managers and Enterprise Architects to identify the business ‘technical needs’ from specifications and requirements including implementation strategy.


– Communicate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet the team goals of delivering applications on aggressive timelines.


Monitoring and Reporting:


– Assist in maintaining risks and issues log


– Conduct internal and external project status report


– Carry out weekly reporting practice


Management Related:


– Assist in creating and updating Project Management Plan


Miscellaneous:


– Capture and share lessons learnt


Skills:


– Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially, Word, Excel and Outlook


– Knowledge of designing process flows (via MS Visio or any other)


– Experience in implementation of retail products (especially Raymark products) will be an added advantage


Personal Traits:


– Excellent Verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact and collaborate professionally with external and internal stakeholders.


– Manages time effectively
