Job Description

Designation: Android Application Developer.

Objective: Successful candidates will have hands-on experience with one or more of today’s mobile software development SDKs and must be able to use that experience to translate customer ideas and requirements into an overall plan to propel a client forward in mobile computing.

Responsibilities:
• 2-6 years overall software development experience with minimum 3 years of Android development experience.
• Critical problems solving skills..
• Document knowledge specific to our most complex and technical capabilities and issues for use by customers and internal teams.
• Utilize strong interpersonal skills in working with internal teams and expand personal and team knowledge of existing and planned products.
• Focus on building high performance, stable and maintainable code.
• Sound Knowledge on OOPS concepts.
• Well versed with Eclipse or Android Studio.
• Pixel-perfect UI capability ,animations, recycler view, material design
• Solid grip on SQLite and data modelling.
• Complete implementation expertise with JSON/XML, Restful webservices, animation, GCM, Google maps.
• Experience with 3rd party libraries & APIs – Face book, Twitter, LinkedIn, retrofit, volley, Picasso.
• Capability of creating Android Custom UI controls.
• Understands screen resolutions, form factors and API levels.
• Demonstrated success in defining and launching mobile apps.
Minimum Qualifications:
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Experience developing and deploying production mobile applications using native device SDKS: Android others could be added advantage
• 2+ years of experience working in a client-facing technical service environment supporting mobile or web-based products.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and HTML4 & 5.
• Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
• Knowledge of scoping customer requirements and relating them to solutions.
