Job Description

Job Title: Electronics Engineer

Function: M&E

Reports to: Shift Engineer/Sr. FM

Location -Andheri Mumbai

Objectives: To ensure serviceability of electronic components which are part of mechanical, electrical and other systems which service the site.

Critical Responsibilities

To ensure proper functioning of electronic instruments , sensors and VFD Drives, controllers.
To identify the problem area / component and to repair the same.
Checking of control cards, PCBs etc. for fault identification and rectification.
To ensure Fire Alarm system, Sprinkler flow switch annunciation and PAS is in working condition all the times.
Maintenance of electronic panel/components of Water tank supply level alarm, air handling unit, and fresh air handling unit.
Maintenance of electronic panel/components of Fire alarm system, Fire pump system, BMS, motors, sewage pump, electrical system, water system, ventilation and elevator control.
To carry out PPM as per the schedule.
To take regular rounds and to note down the abnormality for immediate correction.
Ensure that AMC vendors complete servicing needs as per planned schedule.
To coordinate with vendors and ensure all safety guidelines are followed.
Ensuring that all parameters required for monitoring are recorded in the shift.
To inform Shift Engineer for any abnormality for immediate corrective action
To assist Shift engineers in Service delivery.
All follow up action to be highlighted for closure.
Ensuring all the log books and check lists are updated.
Data collection and analysis.
Accountable for
Maintenance of necessary log books, maintenance reports.
Submit daily activity report and monthly management report.
Field checks of BMS Control System, Fire Alarm systems, Access control system, UPS Emergency Lighting, PA system, display screens and central battery systems.
Ensuring vendors/contractors follow safety norms required by the contract.
Monitoring and ensuring that spares are adequately stocked as required.
Ensuring that all tools and tackles required for service delivery are fit for use.
Completion of all records, including snags which are not closed and reporting Shift Engineer/Sr. Facilities Manager on a daily basis.
Participating in meetings with Reporting manager and above, communicating and taking actions through shift meetings.
