Job Description

Basic Water Needs (BWN) is widely recognized for its impact in developing, producing and distributing water purification and conservation products; creating access to safe drinking water for everyone. Over the last 10 years, BWN has supplied water filters to more than 2,000,000 people worldwide through offering safe and durable drinking water products that are simple to use and last for thousands of liters.
We have our head office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and a production facility in Pondicherry, India.
Because of continued international growth, we are looking for an experienced inbound sales and supply chain manager:
– Communicate and coordinate sales orders with company management in the Netherlands
– Manage complete supply chain: from incoming component orders to delivery to customer’s premises
– Make sure products are delivered according to company standards
– Follow-up customer inquiries within organisation, both in the Netherlands and India
– Align internal operations to external demands
– Direct responsibility to management in India and the Netherlands

Requirements

For this demanding position we require the following:
– University degree in economics, engineering and/or business administration
– At least 5 years experience in the international sales, transport (Incoterms) and supply chain field
– Native Tamil, Excellent English, Hindi is a plus
– Excellent communication skills
– Professional, pro-active working attitude
