Job Description

Basic Water Needs (BWN) is widely recognized for its impact in developing, producing and distributing water purification and conservation products; creating access to safe drinking water for everyone. Over the last 10 years, BWN has supplied water filters to more than 2,000,000 people worldwide through offering safe and durable drinking water products that are simple to use and last for thousands of liters.
We have our head office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and a production facility in Pondicherry, India.
Because of continued international growth, we are looking for an experienced quality control manager:
– Analyse and map sourcing, assembly and production processes
– Install and manage quality control and assurance process
– Continuously improve Basic Water Needs product offering
– Bridge product development designs with factory and supplier processes

Requirements

For this demanding position we require the following:
– University degree in engineering
– At least 5 years experience in a technical production and/or quality control environment
– Excellent knowledge of Solidworks, Autocad, or similar
– Experience with tooling and moulding
– Native Tamil, excellent English, Hindi is a plus
– Excellent communication skills
– Professional, pro-active working attitude
