Job Description

Associate Technical Architect NFE (Non-Functional Engineer ) / Performance Engineer will be based out of FIS Clear2Pay office in Noida/Bangalore. You will join a team of 10+ senior engineers distributed across the globe in charge of the non-functional aspects of several projects and products based on the Open Payment Framework (OPF) platform.
You will be involved in all phases of the project/product life cycle, starting from the definition of the Non Functional Requirements, the definition of the acceptance tests, the execution and reporting of them, the coaching of developers/architect on how to best code/design the solution to meet performance goals, the investigations (problem and solution) of performance problems on all tiers of a deployed solution (Application server, Web server, DB, JMS engine, network, storage) in Clear2Pay Labs as well as occasionnally at customer premises.
Open Payment Framework is a J2EE based framework working on Webpshere and Weblogic, Linux/AIX with MQ or SIBUS as JMS engine and Oracle or DB2 as DB engine.

Responsibilities
Relevant experience in performance tuning (algo, java, SQL,…)
Excellent (developer) knowledge of Java/JEE with hands on mentality
Good knowledge of Linux
You are willing to travel a few times a year for short missions (few days to about a week).
Willing to learn and use FIS Clear2Pay standards reporting/tools
High level of autonomy

Requirements
9+ years of experience IT including few years in doing performance engineering and tuning of Java/JEE applications
BE/MCA or equivalent
Sound knowledge of HA/DR
Experience on Websphere/Weblogic
Experience with Oracle/DB2
Experience with MQ/SIBUS
Experience in Performance Testing
Experience in Application Performance Management
Experience in Capacity Planning & Management
Experience in troubleshooting and root causing Performance bottlenecks using tools like VisualVM , VisualGC , Perfstat, Oracle Enterprise Manager, JProfiler and debugger
Experience in Native monitoring tools like nmon, sar, vmstat, iostat, top etc.
Experience with load test tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter and designing Load test scenarios and analyzing Load test results.
Experience in Oracle database tuning and able to analyze ADDM, AWR reports.
Provide oversight, coordination, and business domain expertise in all business areas (process, technology, quality, and interfaces)
Determine & monitor critical path, Anticipate risks and deviations from plan, analyze them, come up with corrective actions.
Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, ANSI SQL, XML, Struts, Hibernate, EJB
Exposure to data modelling/UML & Design Patterns
Core Java Language (Collections, Concurrency/Multi-Threading, Socket Programming, RMI, Localization, JDBC)
Web Technologies (Struts/Struts 2, Hibernate, JSP, Restful Services, Web Services , HTML/DHTML, JavaScript)
Working Knowledge of JIRA
