Business Environment:
ES India Centre of Excellence is chartered to provide value added finance capabilities through collaboration and best demonstrated practices.
Objective is to achieve greater business performance on a foundation of trusted finance information, and deliver effective decision-making across APJ Enterprise Services.

The Financial Analyst will prepare measurements and bridges to provide insights on financial performance of APJ ITO HQ in HP Enterprise Services. The profile would require to perform the following functions:

* Work on ITO HQ spend / balance sheet analysis to drive performance

* Provides complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.

* Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.

* Forecasts financial results within a broad scope.

* Leads business initiatives, typically leading analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance.

* Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.

* Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross functional planning processes.

* Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.

* Ability to influence multiple organizations within a broad scope, typically interacting with directors and Vice President (VP)s.

* Act as a Trusted Business Advisor to drive revenue and profits.

* Requires flexibility of working across time zones pivotal being APJ hours.

Qualifications:

* CAs, CPAs, MBAs (from reputed schools)

* Typically 8 years of experience as a financial analyst

* Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions. Exposure to IT service industry would be a plus

Required Experience/Skills:

* Prior exposure to services industry, preferably with some ES experience would be a plus

* Good analytical skills and interpretation of financial data.

* Excellent understanding and application of accounting principles and financial analysis.

* Financial planning & budgeting skills.

* Ability to deal with ambiguity, connect the dots and form the big picture

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* Self-motivated, Go getters with a pro-active approach who can take complete ownership of deliverables.

* Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power Point).

* Superior teamwork skills

* Excellent project management skills.
