Consultant- Scripting (bash) & Infra. Monitoring (Delhi-NCR)

Job Description

Graduate degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge in Nagios, Cacti & Open source tools with installation, configuration and customization as per client requirement
Should have good hands on experience with Python & UNIX Based Scripting
Good exposure and hands-on in working on monitoring tools.
Installed and configured Nagios system, performed regular system and network monitor.
Working on monitoring tools Implementation in Nagios Core, Nagios XI, Cacti, etc.
Hands on Open Source tools Nagios, Cacti etc. would be prefered
Strong technical & analytical skills, with experience in root cause analysis and network performance tuning is a must.
Strong interpersonal and influence management skills
To monitor alarms of the network using available tools.
To manage the alarms by raising trouble tickets, performing defined troubleshooting steps and if required assigning it to identified groups for resolution.
To perform regular network throughput analysis.
To assist the capacity planning with detail analysis of the network behavior.
To identify any network abnormalities in terms of bandwidth usage, traffic pattern, network hardware and software malfunction, and immediately notify identified stake holders of the same.
To assist global and regional network team with their upgrade / improvement plan of its network infrastructure.
To identify and analyze, reason for outage (RFO) and root cause analysis (RCA) for every outage and degradation in the network.
